Buddha On the Rocks

We went to see our kids in Prince Edward County today, and this little blue guy greeted us. He made me smile, both because I received an instant feeling of calm when I spied him perched peacefully on the rocks, and due to the fact that my ever active granddaughter paused, closed her eyes and bowed in front of him. I considered it a charming acknowledgement that she felt the same.

I doubt if there is a drink by the name of Buddha on the Rocks, but if it affected people the way the little statue does, a lot of people would be drinking it.

Buddha On the Rocks

In the sky, there is no distinction of east and west; people create distinctions out of their own minds and then believe them to be true.

About CarolWiebe

Art entices, inspires, and delights me. Art is a vehicle for laughter, tears, wonder, enlightenment--taking me on a constant path of discovery. You can't say that about housework (except, perhaps, for the crying part).
