Fill In the Blank

We waste so much time being afraid of running out.

Of what? you may ask.

Fill in the blank. Fill it in from your worst fears and nightmares.

Then ask the bigger questions:  Does it help one iota to be terrified about this? If such a horrible possibility was to come true, is there anything you could do about it?

The answer is invariably a resounding NO. It would follow, then, that you might as well forget about it.

Always being afraid of running out is mostly about not realizing that what you have, and who you are, is ENOUGH.

In other words, the issue is about running out of  (and out on) your self.

Running Out

People with a scarcity mentality tend to see everything in terms of win-lose. There is only so much; and if someone else has it, that means there will be less for me. The more principle-centered we become, the more we develop an abundance mentality, the more we are genuinely happy for the successes, well-being, achievements, recognition, and good fortune of other people. We believe their success adds to…rather than detracts from…our lives.

Art entices, inspires, and delights me. Art is a vehicle for laughter, tears, wonder, enlightenment--taking me on a constant path of discovery. You can't say that about housework (except, perhaps, for the crying part).

    Carol-

I agree- there will always be more!!!!! And I say this as I cam across a nearly new old camera today that is out dated- no one uses floppy disks for pictures any more. ……….. the new stuff is so much richer.
I love the hidden faces in the graphic too. You are very creative. Keep it up.
