Delete That

.

Those who try to practice positive thinking sometimes slip up, and shock people with uncharacteristic leakage of expletives or a nasty comment or two.

Strangers, however, would never guess they were positive thinkers if they refrained from following such slip-ups with looks of horror, a hand raised to cover the mouth, and quick apologies for their “behaviour.” Some make the sign of an X, or rapidly repeat a mantra such as “Delete, delete” or “Cancel, cancel.”

They do not, after all, want to fall victim to bad karma. However, if you want to blend in with the crowd, simply accept responsibility for your transgressions and move on. That may help take the edge off the karma.

Hey…we’re only human. No WAIT. We’re spirits in human bodies! Either way…shit happens.

I wish I could delete that! Shit only happens if we attract it and believe it happens. I’m new at this.
