It Has To Do With Seeds

You never know when something you have said or done plants a seed in another’s mind, ready to bear fruit in the future. It’s too easy to just get mired in habit, to say what’s expected, to act as if the moment isn’t important.

Planting a Seed

In Moonlight

Something moves
just beyond the mind’s
clumsy fingers.

It has to do with seeds.
The earth’s insomnia.
The garden going on
without us

needing no one
to watch it

not even the moon.

…….~ Lorna Crozier, from The Garden Going On Without Us

About CarolWiebe

Art entices, inspires, and delights me. Art is a vehicle for laughter, tears, wonder, enlightenment--taking me on a constant path of discovery. You can't say that about housework (except, perhaps, for the crying part).
