I would expect a breakthrough, she said, except that if it doesn’t happen I’ll be even more depressed. At least if I expect the worst, when it comes I can console myself about being right.

Look at that sun, striving to break through the thick cloud cover.

I am looking for breakthroughs all the time. I expect them, and the clouds dissipate. The sun illuminates my life, teaches me what I need to know about being a light bringer to the darkness.

Thoughts are things, my friend Deb Sims once told me, and I am inviting good things to sail into my life along my river of good thoughts.

Who is more foolish, the child afraid of the dark or the man afraid of the light?

About CarolWiebe

Art entices, inspires, and delights me. Art is a vehicle for laughter, tears, wonder, enlightenment--taking me on a constant path of discovery. You can't say that about housework (except, perhaps, for the crying part).

I LOVE hearing from you!
