A Bullseye, Almost

A photo of a few petals on a curb revealed this:

It’s one of those simple pieces that requires only a copy, flip and match to make you happy. Well, a few tweaks here and there, but that’s it, I swear.

I must be getting better at my photo taking ~ composing in such a way that inspires the digital work, because I can see where I could go with it. When I crop my subject in the viewfinder, however, it is sometimes hard to remember the total context later, or even what it is I took!

bull’s-eye  [boolz-ahy]

noun, plural -eyes.
1. the circular spot, usually black or outlined in black, at the center of a target marked with concentric circles and used in target practice.
Actually, it looks more like a bull than a bullseye. That’s my little wordplay (which sounds so much more sophisticated than pun). Can you see the eyes? If you can, it’s time to run.

About CarolWiebe

Art entices, inspires, and delights me. Art is a vehicle for laughter, tears, wonder, enlightenment--taking me on a constant path of discovery. You can't say that about housework (except, perhaps, for the crying part).
