A Blaze of Light

Hallelujah, by Leonard Cohen, is one of those songs where the lyrics always thrill me to the core, especially if K.D. Lang is singing it. Remember this verse?

You say I took the name in vain
I don’t even know the name
But if I did, well really, what’s it to you?
There’s a blaze of light in every word
It doesn’t matter which you heard
The holy or the broken Hallelujah

That’s how I try to write ~ with a blaze of light in every word. But it only works if the words come from the light, so I gather as much as I can.

Gathering Light

Art entices, inspires, and delights me. Art is a vehicle for laughter, tears, wonder, enlightenment--taking me on a constant path of discovery. You can't say that about housework (except, perhaps, for the crying part).
