The Price of Admission

Gates have great import. A gate signals coming into new territory, opening to another adventure, finding a different way. Often, the unfamiliar terrain is not accessible any other way. One must prove oneself, not only by figuring out how to unfasten the latch, but by paying the price of admission.

At the Gate

No one can persuade another to change. Each of us guards a gate of change that can only be opened from the inside. We cannot open the gate of another, either by argument or emotional appeal.

About CarolWiebe

Art entices, inspires, and delights me. Art is a vehicle for laughter, tears, wonder, enlightenment--taking me on a constant path of discovery. You can't say that about housework (except, perhaps, for the crying part).
