Security Mirror

My mom has a tiny mirror positioned so that she can look out a front window and see who is at her door.

A mirror is a common, everyday object that she has put to good use for her own security. If you look in the mirror’s face you can see my camera pointed at it, and the window from which she looks. You can’t see the front door–but SHE can! She’s probably trying to figure out, at this moment, who YOU are.

Security Mirror

Life is either a daring adventure or nothing. Security does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than exposure.

About CarolWiebe

Art entices, inspires, and delights me. Art is a vehicle for laughter, tears, wonder, enlightenment--taking me on a constant path of discovery. You can't say that about housework (except, perhaps, for the crying part).
