Beautiful British Columbia

I am off to beautiful British Columbia.

We spent the day preparing for the trip. Lucky for us, we have an airport in Breslau (called the Kitchener Airport) and usually take 3 hours to get to Calgary, then about an hour over to Abbotsford Airport in B.C.

Today, we waited for 4 hours after our scheduled departure time because the plane couldn’t land due to the cloud cover (?). WestJet did provide a hotel in Calgary, where we arrived at 2:30 a.m. but had to get up at 6:30 a.m. in order to board our flight to Abbotsford.

There’s no point getting all worked up about it. These things happen. it’s like getting exercised about leaves falling on my patio.

Leaves on the Patio

When the flush of a new-born sun fell on Eden’s green and gold,
Our father Adam sat under the tree and scratched with a stick in the mould;
And the first rude sketch that the world had seen was joy to his mighty heart,
‘Til the Devil whispered behind the leaves, “It’s pretty. But is it Art?”

About CarolWiebe

Art entices, inspires, and delights me. Art is a vehicle for laughter, tears, wonder, enlightenment--taking me on a constant path of discovery. You can't say that about housework (except, perhaps, for the crying part).
