Unused Fire Protection

This is a Vipond product, as evidenced by the name stamped on it.  I took the photo in Southampton. Whether or not this unit has been used, I would say that the best kind of fire protection equipment is the kind you never have to use. In any case, the patina caused by oxidation is quite beautiful.

As usual, I like to put my photographs “through the kaleidoscope,” so to speak, which means fracturing and flipping images in Photoshop Elements.

Layering rules, and when you have enough layers, and try a bunch of variations of them in various transparencies, cool things happen.
