Update on the Barfoot Yupo Workshop

The first day consisted of getting used to Yupo and how it reacts to various materials. It was a challenge, but Zappha was up to it ~ guiding us, making suggestions, showing us demonstrations.

I made these two pieces:

Life Springs Forth

Well Worn Glory

About CarolWiebe

Art entices, inspires, and delights me. Art is a vehicle for laughter, tears, wonder, enlightenment--taking me on a constant path of discovery. You can't say that about housework (except, perhaps, for the crying part).

wow, that second piece is a stunner Carol! obviously you were in very good hands – did you stay at the same place ?

    • Carol Wiebe says:

Thanks, Jeane. Zappha demonstrated us how she did a certain kind of flower–mine didn’t turn out like anyone else’s. It’s that willfulness of mine, shining through again.

I stayed with a friend at her cabin for night.
