The truth be told, I don’t like the Lightning Strike original painting all that much. Nevertheless, I found many beautiful designs in it, all of which can become collage elements, or undergo my stitch and paint treatment.

Here is another Photoshop Elements transformation. I have to ask myself, “Where did that come from?”

The Mourning Dress

About CarolWiebe

Art entices, inspires, and delights me. Art is a vehicle for laughter, tears, wonder, enlightenment--taking me on a constant path of discovery. You can't say that about housework (except, perhaps, for the crying part).

  1. Wherever–it’s wonderful. I often, after knowing a canvas is finished, look at it the next morning–or days after with a reaction of “where did that come from.” I think for me, it’s part of the artist process–where the artwork has become its own entity–separate from me. Interesting.

Yes, Juliaanne ~ there’s this sense of something coming through rather than being created by you. Of course, you were the willing medium, and you call it yours, but the best ones seem more like gifts.

I LOVE hearing from you!
