I am working on the inside cover of one of my art journals. (Frankly, I don’t know whether to call them books or journals.)

It looks like this, so far. The cover is made like a CPQ (Cracked Paper Quilt), which means it is quilted paper. A paper applique with the words stitched into it was glued on.  Gesso, ink, and paint followed.

About CarolWiebe

Art entices, inspires, and delights me. Art is a vehicle for laughter, tears, wonder, enlightenment--taking me on a constant path of discovery. You can't say that about housework (except, perhaps, for the crying part).
